Science Behind It
When the human eye observes a scene, the light signal is transmitted to the brain nerves, and it takes a short period of time. After the effect of light ends, the visual image does not immediately disappear. This residual visual phenomenon is called "afterimage", and this visual phenomenon is called "visual persistence".
The phenomenon of visual persistence refers to the phenomenon in which the visual perception produced by light on the retina remains for a period of time after the light stops acting. Its specific application is in the filming and projection of movies. The reason is caused by the reaction speed of the optic nerve. It is the basis for the formation and dissemination of visual media such as animation and movies. Vision actually relies on the imaging of the eye's crystalline lens, where photoreceptor cells sense light and convert it into neural currents, which are transmitted back to the brain to trigger human vision. The photosensitivity of photoreceptor cells relies on some photosensitive pigments, and the formation of photosensitive pigments requires a certain amount of time, which forms the mechanism of visual pause.
Exhibition items description
The exhibition items mainly consist of a matrix spray system, a strobe lighting system, and audio lights.
The sprinkler system, controlled by the rhythm of music and flickering lights, allows for a magical sight where the water hangs in front of you like a string of diamonds, sometimes dripping, sometimes flowing back, or standing still in the air. Viewers can adjust the visual effects of the water curtain hanging or flowing backwards by turning the knob, and enjoy a super shocking and awe inspiring magic rain!
