Every museum has its own theme, floor plan and budget, and catalogue exhibits only ever solve part of the problem. We can design and build an exhibit from scratch around your theme, or manufacture to your drawings and samples — cutting, machining, finishing and assembly all done in our own factory.
Shanghai Inertia is the contract manufacturer behind many of China’s best-known large science-museum projects. We build exhibits for EPC contractors, exhibition integrators and industry peers — to your drawings or to your samples — batch by batch, on a stable long-term supply basis.
Exhibits designed around the museum’s theme and the space available. We get involved from the concept stage and stay until installation is finished.
Exhibit manufacturing for EPC contractors, exhibition integrators and industry peers — to your drawings or to your samples.
More than 3,000 m² of production and assembly space. Laser cutting, CNC bending, turning / milling / drilling, wood carving, painting and powder coating, electrical assembly — all kept in-house, so the chain from raw material to finished surface, and from mechanics to controls, closes inside one factory.
Among companies in China that specialise in building science-museum exhibits, few run a factory with the full set of production equipment. We are one of them.
Shears, cutters, laser engravers, press brakes, planers, punches, drilling and milling machines, CNC lathes, woodworking saws and engravers, packing equipment — a complete industrial production line.
Our own painting and powder-coating workshop, with emission treatment approved by the relevant authorities. Finishing done in-house means surface quality and lead time are not held up by subcontractors.
Cutting, machining, finishing and electrical assembly all happen in our own plant, which raises throughput and keeps deliveries on schedule.
Mechanical and mechatronic interactive exhibits across aerospace, energy, mechanics, acoustics, electricity, magnetism, mathematics and human-machine interaction, delivered across China’s provinces — proven processes ready to reuse.
“Survive on quality, grow on efficiency”: multi-stage in-house inspection before dispatch, then item-by-item checking against the entry acceptance standards of science museums at every level, and support through the museum’s own on-site acceptance.
Built on a complete industrial production line and mechanical-automation capability, focused on custom design and production of science-education exhibits, mainly for city- and county-level science museums and for campus and community science museums.
We run more than 3,000 m² of production and assembly space, with the complete process chain from cutting to finishing and from mechanical structure to electrical control, so we can take catalogue supply, custom builds and OEM orders at the same time. Core processes include panel cutting and engraving, engineered-stone hot bending, sheet-metal bending and welding, surface treatment and baking finish, acrylic fabrication, control cabinet assembly and programme commissioning.
For OEM clients we manufacture to your drawings, samples or technical specification, and supply factory test records on request. For custom-build clients we issue a proposal and renderings first, and only start manufacturing once they are approved — so rework is avoided.
What is the minimum order quantity? Stock exhibits can be bought as single units; custom builds and OEM are quoted per project or per batch — there is no fixed minimum.
How long does delivery take? Stock items usually ship within a week; custom builds take 30–60 days depending on complexity; OEM is scheduled by order volume.
Can you export? Yes. We have supplied and installed exhibits for projects in Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), the Republic of Korea and elsewhere, and can provide export packing, documentation support and on-site engineers.
Can we use OEM without your branding? Yes. OEM orders follow the agreed labelling and packing; we take care of manufacturing and quality only.
Can you build to our drawings? Yes. Manufacturing to drawings or to samples both work — we assess process feasibility and quote first, then start production once approved.
