1. Content:
The exhibition items mainly consist of a handle, manual sound tube, electric sound tube, pronunciation device, transmission mechanism, note stick, and other parts. The rotating handle drives the cylinder with a note stick inserted on its surface to rotate at a constant speed. When the note stick passes through the soundboard and the sound bar, it will move the reed to vibrate at the set frequency and produce sound. Set up two rotary drums, one manual rotary drum, controlled by a crank to rotate; The other one is an electric drum, which can be started by a button. Install a note stick on the outside of the sound tube, and press the note stick to control its protrusion or retraction.
2. Principle:
The shaking handle drives the surface of the sound tube with small protrusions to rotate at a constant speed. When the protrusions pass through the sound bar of the soundboard, they will move the spring, causing the spring to vibrate at the set frequency and produce the set sound. The soundboard of the music box is made by cutting thin strips of uniform length but varying thickness on an elastic steel plate. A bump on the sound tube is equivalent to a note on the sheet music. A sound tube is set with regular convex points, and when the sound tube rotates, the convex points slide across the edge of the soundboard. Due to the different convex points, the pronunciation is also different.
3. Purpose:
Exhibition items involve manually composing and playing one's own music to understand the sound production principle of the music box.
