Exhibition Name
Rotating Silver Egg
Science Behind It
A three-phase asynchronous motor uses three sets of stator coils to generate a rotating magnetic field, which induces current in a hollow metal rotor. The magnetic field of the induced current interacts with the magnetic field of the coils to drive the rotor to rotate. This exhibition uses a hollow aluminum egg as the rotor, and the aluminum egg will also stand up due to the gyroscopic effect during rotation.
Dimensions
Specification size: 0.75 × 0.68 × 2.1 meters.
exhibits materials: ① Booth: Bottom cabinet sheet metal, thickness ≥ 1.2mm
② Tabletop: Cambert board, thickness ≥ 12mm
