Science Behind It
In fact, these four rotatable optical components are either flat mirrors or curved mirrors. When the laser emitted from the starting point hits a flat or curved mirror, it will reflect and change the direction of propagation. By changing the angle of a flat or curved mirror, the direction of light reflection also changes accordingly. So, if these flat or curved mirrors are adjusted to the appropriate angle, the laser propagating in a straight line can undergo multiple reflections, reach the endpoint, and light up the colored lights. You can try rotating at least a few optical components to light up the colored lights. Microscopes, projectors, periscopes, and other devices all use the principle of specular reflection of light.
