Mutual inductance music - customized science museum exhibitions, campus community science popularization equipment, source manufacturer of science exhibitions, exhibition description and scientific principle introduction:

The exhibition items demonstrate the working principle of the speaker. There is a voice coil and diaphragm in the horizontal tube of the exhibition items connected to the paper tray, and a coil in the other horizontal tube. Press the "start" button to power on the exhibition items, and then adjust the distance between the horizontal tubes through the "left" and "right" buttons. You will find that the speaker will only make sound when the two horizontal tubes are close. Speaker, also known as horn, is an electroacoustic device that converts electrical signals into sound energy and effectively radiates the sound in the air. Currently, the most widely used is the permanent magnet electric speaker, which is composed of a diaphragm, voice coil, permanent magnet, bracket, etc. When the audio electrical signal is input into the speaker, the voice coil generates an alternating magnetic field under the action of current, and the permanent magnet also generates a constant magnetic field of constant size and direction. In the exhibition items, coils replace permanent magnets. When powered on, the coils generate a magnetic field distributed in a circular pattern along the center of the tube, turning into electromagnets. After the voice coil and electromagnet approach each other, the magnitude and direction of the magnetic field generated by the voice coil constantly change with the variation of the audio current. The interaction between the two magnetic fields causes the voice coil to move perpendicular to the direction of the current in the voice coil. As the voice coil is connected to the diaphragm, it drives the diaphragm or paper tray to vibrate, pushing the surrounding air to transform into sound. The larger the current input to the voice coil, the greater the force of its magnetic field, the greater the amplitude of the diaphragm vibration, and the louder the sound. The main applications of electromagnetic induction include electromagnetic cranes, electromagnetic relays, electric motors, maglev trains, etc.
