Exhibition items mainly consist of exhibition stands, brackets, magnets, and a pendulum. There are three sets of magnetic fields composed of permanent magnets set on the table, and in each set of magnetic fields, there are suspended single pendulums composed of different materials, namely aluminum pendulum, coil pendulum, and plastic pendulum, in pairs. The audience uses their hands to move each group's pendulum and releases it from the same height to observe the movement status of each group's pendulum. The audience will notice that when the aluminum pendulum swings, it will quickly stop swinging; When swinging the plastic pendulum, it will swing freely for a long time; When the swinging coil swings, the coil swings slower and slower, which is the phenomenon of magnetic damping. The induced current generated by a pendulum made of different materials in a magnetic field is different, resulting in different magnetic field resistance, which leads to different motion states of the pendulum made of different materials.
