Paper clips are made of iron and can be attracted by magnets. This attraction is caused by the presence of a magnetic field around the magnet. There is a coil under the paperclip stage, which generates a magnetic field when powered, turning into an electrical "magnet". The voltage at both ends of the coil fluctuates with the rhythm of the music, and the strength of the magnetic field also changes accordingly. When the magnetic field becomes stronger, the paper clip overcomes its own gravity and stands up; When the magnetic field weakens, the paper clip is pulled down by gravity. So, the paper clip danced to the rhythm of the music.
