1. Content

The exhibition items consist of four sets of games: Huarongdao, Eight Queens, 24:00 (multimedia interaction), and Math Challenge (multimedia interaction). The Huarongdao game is based on the famous Three Kingdoms story, where Cao Cao moves his chess pieces from the initial position to the bottom center of the board and escapes through the exit. It is not allowed to cross chess pieces, and efforts must be made to move Cao Cao to the exit with the minimum number of steps. Eight Queens Problem: How many different ways to place eight queens on an 8 × 8 grid of chess so that they cannot attack each other, meaning that no two queens can be in the same row, column, or diagonal line. The 24 o'clock game is a puzzle game of chess and card games. In a deck of cards, four numbers are given, all of which are integers (between 1 and 13). The given numbers are calculated into 24 using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (parentheses can be added). Each number must be used once and can only be used once. The player who calculates the result first wins. The math challenge is divided into two groups, each consisting of five questions with 20 points each, for a total of 100 points. The main purpose is to exercise the audience's imagination of space and experience the joy of thinking.

2. Principle

Huarong Road is an ancient Chinese folk puzzle game. Huarong Road was originally a place name in ancient China, and it is said that Cao Cao once defeated here. Due to the fact that Huarong Road was a swamp at that time, Cao Cao's army had to cut grass and fill the land, and many soldiers were brutally buried alive, which was extremely tragic. By moving each chess piece, help Cao Cao move from the initial position to the bottom middle of the board and escape through the exit. It is not allowed to cross chess pieces, and efforts must be made to move Cao Cao to the exit with the minimum number of steps. The biggest obstacle for Cao Cao to escape from Huarong Road was Guan Yu. Guan Yu immediately went to Huarong Road, with one man guarding the pass and ten thousand men unable to leave. Guan Yu and Cao Cao are certainly the key to unlocking this game. The four Liu Bei soldiers are the most flexible and easy to deal with, and how to play their role should also be fully considered. Huarong Road "has a chessboard with twenty small squares representing Huarong Road.

The Eight Queens Problem is an ancient and famous problem, which is a typical case of backtracking algorithm. This question was proposed by international chess player Max Bethel in 1848: how many different ways to place eight queens on an 8 × 8 grid of chess so that they cannot attack each other, meaning that no two queens can be in the same row, column, or diagonal line. 24 o'clock "is a math game with a simple and easy to learn gameplay that can enhance brain function and intelligence, making it an extremely beneficial activity. The game content is as follows: Draw 52 cards from a deck of cards after removing the Big and Small Kings (if practicing for the first time, only 40 cards from 1 to 10 can be used). Draw any 4 cards (called a deck) and use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (parentheses can be added) to calculate the number on the deck to 24. Each card must be used once and can only be used once. If the drawn cards are 3, 8, 8, 9, then the formula is (9-8) × 8 × 3 or 3 × 8+(9-8) or (9-8 ÷ 8) × 3, etc.

3. Purpose

Exhibition items allow viewers to experience the charm of mathematical games through four sets of games: Huarongdao, Eight Queens, 24:00 (multimedia interaction), and Math Challenge (multimedia interaction), expanding their horizons and stimulating their interest in learning.
