Relative Motion - Customization of Science Museum Exhibitions, Campus Community Science Popularization Equipment, Source Manufacturer of Science Exhibitions Description and Introduction of Scientific Principles:
The exhibition items consist of a pendulum device and a patterned table. Participants observe the movement trajectory of the pendulum by pushing the pendulum and the table against the patterns on the table, in order to gain scientific knowledge about relative velocity. In non relative motion, relative velocity refers to the vector difference between the velocities of two objects. For example, in the same system, the velocities of A and B are VA and VB, respectively. The velocity of A relative to B (VA/B) is VA rel B=VA-VB; The velocity of B relative to A (VB/A) is VB rel A=VB-VA. The speed of A equivalent to B refers to the motion speed of A with B as a reference.
