Cylinder and Cone - Customization of Science Museum Exhibitions, Campus Community Science Popularization Equipment, Source Manufacturer of Science Exhibitions Description and Introduction of Scientific Principles:
Set up liquid containers of different shapes, and participants rotate the containers to understand the volume relationship between cones and cylinders, spheres and cylinders, and cones and spheres through the flow direction of the fluid. A cone is a spatial geometry obtained by rotating a right angled triangle around one of its right angled sides. The surface of a circle is called the base, the tip is called the vertex, the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle is called the generatrix of a cone, and the distance from the vertex to the base is called the height of the cone. The volume of a cone with the same base and height as a cylinder is one-third of the volume of a cylinder. A cylinder with the same base radius and height has a volume that is three-quarters of the volume of a sphere with the same radius. A cone with a base radius equal to its height has a volume that is one-quarter of the volume of a sphere of equal radius.
