Exhibition Name
Peeking into infinity
Science Behind It
Exhibitions consist of an orange red sheet metal base and body, a warm white anti duplication board tabletop, an orange red sheet metal chassis, coated glass, flat mirrors, LED color soft light strips, flat mirror rotating mechanism, handwheel, leakage protection, power module, and instruction board.
Light is reflected multiple times between a plane mirror and a half mirror placed parallel to each other, forming a series of images. Due to the fact that specular reflection is always weaker than incident light (with a very small portion being absorbed, and the front half mirror always transmits half of the light), this reflection is not infinite. Due to the perspective principle of small far and large near, the mirror appears smaller and the distance between the images also appears smaller, forming a corridor of images that gives the impression of infinite depth between the two mirrors.
