Cone Rolling - Customized Science Museum Exhibitions, Campus Community Science Popularization Equipment, Source Manufacturer of Science Exhibitions Description and Introduction of Scientific Principles:
By exploring the laws of cone motion, the audience can understand that objects in a gravitational field will always move according to the law of lowering the center of gravity to seek stability. This exhibition items consist of fixed inclined tracks and movable cones. The low-end distance of the inclined track is relatively small, while the high-end distance is relatively large. The cone is a double cone with a large center and two pointed ends. When conducting experiments, the cone is placed at the lower end of the inclined track. After releasing it, the cone appears to roll upwards along the track. Careful observation reveals that the center of gravity of the cone is moving downwards. After reaching a certain height, the cone rolls down and swings back and forth until it stabilizes.
