This is because the ball in the middle of the booth is the positive pole, and the stainless steel ring around the disk is the negative pole. After being powered on, both the small ball and the central electrode are positively charged, so under the repulsive force of the same charge, the small ball is bounced away from the central electrode; When the ball comes into contact with the stainless steel ring around the disk, the positive and negative charges carried by the ball are neutralized, and then it is negatively charged, so the ball is attracted back to the positively charged central electrode.
