Cutting magnetic lines with straight wires - Customization of science museum exhibitions, campus community science popularization equipment, source manufacturer of science exhibitions description and introduction of scientific principles:
Scientific principle: Why does sliding a metal rod generate electric current? There are two metal guide rails set up on the booth, with a closed loop consisting of magnets, tracks, and metal rods placed between the rails. When sliding copper, iron, aluminum and other metal rods along the guide rail, the metal rods cut magnetic induction lines, and according to the law of electromagnetic induction, induced currents are generated in the closed circuit composed of the guide rail and the metal rods. The direction and speed of metal rod sliding, as well as the resistivity of the material, will affect the direction and magnitude of induced current.
